Red Star Belgrade continues to strengthen its midfield by signing Dalsio Gomes from Guinea-Bissau, who will reunite with coach Vladan Milojević.

Red Star Belgrade has continued to bolster its squad. Following the arrival of Luka Ilić, the club has now signed midfielder Dalsio Gomes from Guinea-Bissau. The midfielder will wear the number 22 jersey and is particularly pleased to be working again with Vladan Milojević.

"I am very happy to be here and to contribute to the team. Red Star is a great club that always fights for trophies, and I am here to help. I am glad to have the opportunity to work with Vladan Milojević again; he is my coach and friend. I am familiar with the club, as I have several friends who played here, such as Ben, Dauda, and Tomane. They told me a lot about Red Star. I don't like to talk much about myself; I want to speak on the field," emphasized Dalsio.

Dalsio Gomes was born on May 22, 1996, in Almada, Portugal. Standing 186 centimeters tall, he began his career at Belenenses and then played for Benfica B. The Guinea-Bissau international made a move in 2017 when he was loaned to Rangers in Scotland. His career continued in Greece, where he first played for Panetolikos, then Ionikos, and most recently, he was with APOEL in Nicosia.
