Kyle Walker has secured a luxury £10,000-per-week apartment in Milan following his loan move to AC Milan, but his wife Annie Kilner and their children will remain in the UK as their marriage remains uncertain.

Kyle Walker is settling into his new life in Milan after completing his loan move from Manchester City to AC Milan in January. The England international has reportedly found a luxury apartment in the city center, costing £10,000 per week. However, his wife Annie Kilner and their four children will not be joining him in Italy for the time being.

Walker’s uncertain family situation

Reports suggest that Kilner was being considered for an ITV reality show about living in Milan with Walker, but those plans now seem unlikely. A source close to the couple revealed that their marriage remains unstable.

"Their marriage is still very rocky and while it’s better than before, there are still a lot of things to work out. Kyle’s move was also quite sudden, so it’s not that easy for Annie to just relocate with the kids to another country," the source told MailOnline.

"There are schools to consider and finding a house that is big enough for them all. But that’s still a long way off. For now, Kyle will be in Italy and Annie at their home in the UK and they’ll see how things go."

Walker adjusting to life in Milan

The 33-year-old defender has had a mixed start to his Serie A adventure. He impressed on his debut against Inter, earning comparisons to club legend Cafu. However, his recent performance against Hellas Verona was widely criticized, leading to him being substituted at half-time.

Despite the challenges, sources say Walker is enjoying his fresh start. "Kyle is loving both life and his football again. He’s like a new man in Milan and has never been happier. Perhaps he’s just relieved to put all his domestic troubles behind him by being out of England," the source added.

Focus shifts to the Champions League

Now that Walker has found a permanent place to stay, his focus will turn to AC Milan’s upcoming Champions League play-off. The club needs to overturn a 1-0 first-leg deficit against Feyenoord in Tuesday’s decisive clash at San Siro.
