The Vice President of Vojvodina believes the captain of the Serbian national team will return to where he grew up and played.

The new Vice President of Vojvodina Football Club, Milan Mandarić, discussed his collaboration with the club and whether Dušan Tadić will once again wear the Novi Sad club's jersey.

"It's a dream. Vojvodina has had fantastic players, and Dušan is one of them. He has his obligations at Fenerbahçe. Vojvodina is the place where Dušan grew up and played football. I believe that one day, when he sees retirement approaching, he will come to help Vojvodina," Milan Mandarić said in an interview with Slovenian "Sport Club."

He then explained how he came to be the vice president of the largest club in Vojvodina.

"I found myself with the leadership of Vojvodina at a celebration marking 110 years of the club's existence. The club's people invited and warmly welcomed me. It was very nice. Then they offered me to be a member of the club's board. In the end, I agreed not to be president but vice president and responsible for football, as well as to be a board member leading Vojvodina."

"I have a great deal of flexibility with my time. My responsibilities include assembling the team, potentially selling some players, and bringing in good footballers. We want to make progress that Vojvodina deserves," explains the 85-year-old born in Gospić about his return to the "old lady" of Novi Sad.
