Borussia Dortmund considers signing Kevin Schade from Brentford, but his transfer depends on Napoli’s €45M pursuit of Karim Adeyemi.
Borussia Dortmund is exploring the possibility of signing Kevin Schade from Brentford as a potential replacement for Karim Adeyemi, who has drawn strong interest from Napoli. According to reports, the Serie A club is keen to sign Adeyemi following the departure of Khvicha Kvaratskhelia to PSG and is reportedly willing to offer €45 million for the German winger.
Schade, 23, has impressed at Brentford this season, contributing six goals and two assists. However, Thomas Frank, the club’s manager, has publicly stated that Schade is happy at Brentford, and the club has no intention of selling him.
The success of Dortmund’s pursuit of Schade hinges on Adeyemi’s move to Napoli. Brentford initially paid €25 million for Schade in 2023 and would only consider letting him go for an offer in the range of €50–60 million.
For now, Dortmund remains in negotiations with Napoli over Adeyemi’s transfer, which will directly impact whether they proceed with an official approach for Schade. With the transfer window still open, further developments are expected in the coming days.
